Theres a thing on there, the Pony Identification, you just answer the questions and it'll tell you the name of any old pony, awesome for figuring out childhood ponies.

@Quidam: They did actually! For the 25th anniversary I think, they put out a set of ponies made from the original molds. The purple unicorn custom I posted is made from one. Dun know if anywhere still has them though, it was a few years ago. And the one like Stormlight has is the G3 or third gen type, if you're looking. Theyre super common on ebay.

Why yes! It's Baby Moondreamer(dancer)! lol That'd be her.

Oh, and further down there's a pink pegasus with blue hair. I had one that looked like that. I think her name was Firefly, and she had lightning bolts on her side. She was my very first Pony. Her tail always fell out, as I recall. A lot of them had tails that pulled out. So I'd take them in the pool with me and use them for water guns, squirting water out their butts. XD

Oh, and the twinkle-eyed pony was called Galaxy, the dark purplish one with red hair. And one of the sleepy-eyed babies, and the fuzzy pony, and flutter pony, oh, and one with really loooong tail that you could make longer or shorter by pulling it out and twisting the pony's head to shorten it again.

I love this page! Bringing back so many memories. lol

Firefly? :3

Used to have the old old Firefly but seems it got thrown out or lost when my little cousins didn't want to play with it anymore. Firefly was my fave as a kid cuz mine came with the little video about her. And I have some of the ones with growing hair too! Though my childhood one was from a yard sale, so I never knew it could grow until I looked it up recently xD Had a Galaxy too... gave it to a friend's daughter because the ones with jeweled eyes freak me out.

Eeeee! Firefly!*huggles* Ah, she brings back memories. Say, I had that little pink one, too. Or one like it. She came with a plastic crib. lol

Oh, yes, I can remember carting my heavy "portable" Pony Stable through the neighborhood loaded with my ponies (I must've had a dozen or three of those things, I swear!), going to my friend's house to play or swim. We used to trade 'em like baseball cards. lol Oh, oh, and I had one of the seahorse ponies, too. And a Pony llama! Or was she a camel ...? Anyway, I had a Pony Friend, too. I think I must've been 13 or 14 before I started losing interest in them, which is when they all started ending up at yard sales. But seeing these guys, I kinda want to go to Ebay and see if I can't find some of them again. lol

Oh, the pony friends! I had the lion. I loved her to pieces. She's one I wish I had kept. I only like the seahorses for bathtime play. It didn't make sense for them to play with the normal ponies.

While Youtubing yours I was able to found out the name one of the episodes of mine, The Prince and the Ponies. I loved the cute little baby ponies and I think I've seen Firefly´s Adventure before too. I'm such an animation junkie. XD

I found my pony! I thought I had two left, but can only locate one. My unicorn, Powder, must have found another home at some point.



No creature can resist the power of the pony! (though, perhaps the pony should find a way to resist the power of the creature!)

I remember those jeweled eyes one too. They freaked me out a bit, the eyes looked like a bugs(well to me anyway).XD

It looks like I won't be able to get the ones in storage out anytime soon. But I should be able to get the ones in my closet out, I'll try and do that soon. Right now they are keeping all my old Disney action figures company.

I used to have a whole bunch of them, but now I think I'm down to around 10-15(give or take). And sadly I don't remember their names anymore.

Other than Firefly and Applejack (who were in the tape I had) I didn't know the real names of ANY of mine... Little kid brain made up a few, uh, creative names and designated some ponies male because I only had one real boy. Was a mess when I looked em up years later and found out 'Queenie' was really a Princess and 'Swirly' (Windy) was really a girl
And Quidam, your pony is so pretty :3 I had one of those but sold it to a local collector... shoulda kept her, such a lovely girl.
