You did WHAT? WHERE?? HOW??? Share the knowledge or explain once again why we use chalk pastels and not oils.

Baking soda on sticky dolls? Or something else?

Postby DollyKim » Fri May 27, 2022 6:42 pm

Has anyone tried using baking soda to make a plastic doll less sticky? I have some rooted heads that are showing their age.

It looks like it's take a slightly damp rag and apply some baking soda, maybe a paste in a toothpaste like thickness, to the sticky part of a doll then rinse off.

My biggest worry is the heads I'd be doing it to are painted. So far it's just a couple of factory rooted Obitsus from 2006.
