Tips for dark skinned face-ups?

Postby yarwel » Mon May 28, 2012 10:02 pm

So I have a chocolate colored vinyl doll and have been somewhat perplexed as to how to give her a decent face-up. Because she is so dark the blushing techniques and such I use for lighter dolls don't seem like they will work. Has anyone else had this problem? I thought maybe some of the people here might be willing to share some pointers out of their experience.

I did a really simple face up on my dark tan Mei. just brows, eyeliner, red mouth-painted and glossed with a touch of pastel on the cheeks. It took deeper colors than on my lighter dolls.

For the Benny I sold, painted brows, eyeliner and mouth with gloss was all I did. You don't need much with the deeper skin tones.
