I usually sew the outfits and then do the wash and vinegar method on the darker ones. Otherwise I'd be afraid the thread might stain. That usually isn't the case but I'm paranoid that they will so I'm better safe than sorry thinker about it.

nope, no smell with white vinegar, you rinse them after the soak.

wow, and my main worry was that the clothes would have that strong vinegar smell. I'm glad to hear it washes out fully
