Sandpaper grain size for sanding 1/6 vinyl doll faces?

Postby ~TurkishDelight~ » Fri Mar 14, 2014 7:48 pm

Is there a recommended grain size of sandpaper you need to use when sanding/shaping a 1/6 vinyl doll's face? I don't want to leave rough marks on the face...Is a nail-filer okay, or is a finer grain necessary? :?

Generally speaking, you're going to want to get the finest grade you can find, and you're STILL going to rough up the face a bit. That's where a vinyl smoothing agent comes in. I've asked this same question in the past. ;) I'll link you to my thread, maybe it will answer some of your questions? viewtopic.php?f=6&t=9487

I hope that helps! :D
