Do you have to use Gesso, or is there anything else that can be used to close a Barbie mouth?

I have never tried that method yet but I have used this this method instead.

You could use Apoxie S. instead of Gesso.

This looks very nice to me. I might just try it. I've never been a fan of huge toothy smiles on dolls and there are a couple of dolls I wouldn't mind trying this on. I've got quite a few blond bim- uh older beach Barbies that could a bit more personality, lol.
