UPDATE: The Free Step-By-Step Porcelain Ball Jointed Doll Tutorial is FINISHED !!!

I'm following Ball-Jointed Doll Artist, Allison Mecleary, of Woodland Earth Studio. She is currently doing a FREE Step-By-Step Porcelain BJD Tutorial at the WES Forum. She is starting with sculpting the figure using polymer clay. She will follow that with molding in plaster, casting in porcelain, kiln firing, china painting, assembling, and wigging with a magnetic wig cap. Participation is encouraged, as well as including your own work-in-progress BJD pictures and experiences. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about this process from an experienced porcelain BJD maker, and to learn from other doll artists as well. So stop by WES, register at the Forum, and join in for a free, fun, and educational porcelain BJD making tutorial.

Just a head's up, Allison is currently tutoring about assembling a porcelain BJD with spring tensioning.
I have never seen this level of detail about doing this, anywhere else on the Internet, or in any books.
