Has anyone successfully resized Gracefaerie patterns? I really want this pattern for my MNF, but the measurements are very different from the doll she's made the pattern for: http://www.gracefaerie.com/patterns/pattern60.html. I know she has a short tutorial on resizing her patterns, but I want to know if anyone's done it and how it worked out.

She does sort of have that for MSD size, except you'd need 3 patterns…

I have resized one of her patterns (oddly enough, the corset for Nyssa I linked above). It only sort-of worked for me, but I don't think it was anything to do with the pattern or the resizing instructions, but because I was making the top part smaller and the bottom part larger, so there was a lot of faffing around once I'd done the basic resize. I think if I had being just decreasing the size, or just increasing it, it would have worked fine.

I recommend getting yourself a proportion wheel. They are designed for print artists but they are an absolute must for any kind of resizing. I'm looking for a simple tank top pattern for my incoming Pullip doll. So I guess it can be a Blythe or Skipper pattern, too. I'd rather not crochet it because I'm basing the outfit on a video game character. Does anyone know where I can find a simple tank top pattern for that size? I've googled it but come up empty.

Someone linked to this blog on another forum, and I love the patterns. The author has not updated in several years but the patterns are great and for entire outfits including hats, bags, and other accessories.

The patterns are for Barbie, but they are all based on rectangles and darts are added to fit them to the exact doll, so they can be adapted for other 1\6 dolls or sized up for larger dolls.

I have a CRAPTON of Victorian-era patterns saved on my Steampunk Pinterest board. It's a bit disorganized in the sub-boards, and I've not yet started on resizing them to fit dolls, but have at 'em. I'm always looking for more patterns, so it's a massive WIP.
