Gerschy : I like these flowers. Will you plant some next summer for me?
Me : Yes...if I knew what they were.
Gerschy : You don't know?
Me : No. I have no idea. They're small and pretty, though.
Gerschy : You took biology in school!
Me : *cough* That's been a long time ago. *cough*
Gerschy : You don't remember, then.
Me : Uh, no. I've forgotten.

Gerschy : Since you don't know what these flowers are, I think you should look them up when we get home.
Me : Next summer is a long time away.
Gerschy : You should be prepared, then.
Me : Why are you so worried about not having flowers in the back yard this year?
Gerschy : I like flowers.
Me : So do I.
Gerschy : Then plant some flowers for the upcoming summer!
Me : I'll have to wait until the bulbs go on sale. I'll get a lot of them then and planted before the first frost.
Gerschy : Good. Elves need flowers, you know.
Gerschy : Am I working today?
Me : Why?
Gerschy : You keep taking my picture every where we go.
Me : I like taking your picture.
Gerschy : I expect to get paid for this modeling gig, then.
Me : Hmph...I already told you I was going to plant some bulbs before the first frost.
Gerschy : True. That's not instant satisfaction, though.
Me : Well, Gerschy, 'you can't always get what you want...'
Gerschy : You are such an ordit.
Me : 'But if you try sometimes well you just might find you get what you need!'
Gerschy : *face palm*
Gerschy : A MAZE!!!
Me : Let's play hide and seek!
Gerschy : Finally! I get to play a game!
Me : Hurry up! Start hiding!
Gerschy : Start counting!

Gerschy : We need more elves.
Me : Hmmm...Maybe you'll have a friend in the next couple of weeks.
Gerschy : My size friend?

Gerschy : You're getting me a horse!
Me : Uh, no. Not a horse.
Gerschy : I want a horse.
Me : You have a horse.
Gerschy : I want another horse.
Me : You're not getting another horse.
Gerschy : You're no fun. *stalks off through maze*
Gerschy : They're not playing. They're just pretending to play.
Me : I know. They're statues.
Gerschy : What's the point in that?
Me : Hmmm...Maybe so people and elves can hear the music in their heads?
Gerschy : What kind of music?
Me : The sign back there said they're Chinese musicians.
Gerschy : Oh.
Me : Listen closely. You'll hear it.
Gerschy : *concentrates* OH! I HEAR IT!

Gerschy : You're missing out on some nice a/c.
Me : Yeah, yeah. I want to take a photo of him.
Gerschy : Careful. You might get wet.
Me : ???????
Gerschy : He's uh......without a loin cloth.
Me : Now WHY would he do that?
Gerschy : You'll take an embarrassing photo of him.
Me : *sigh* He's a statue.
Gerschy : Yeah, right. Just wait. I bet at nightfall, these 'statues' come to life.
Me : I promise not to take an embarrassing photo of him.
Gerschy : If you do, you'll come back to the car wet.
Me : You're weird.
Gerschy : Look who's talking!
Gerschy : Can we keep her?
Me : Seriously?
Gerschy : Yes. Seriously. We need a sphinx.
Me : *sigh* I'm not really in the mood to deal with riddles every day.
Gerschy : I am.
Me : You'll keep the sphinx company then?
Gerschy : Yes. So will the smaller ones, too.
Me : I think the sphinx might get tired of them and eat them.
Gerschy : That's the point!

Gerschy : Haven't we had this conversation before?
Me : *pointedly ignores the elf*
Gerschy : I'm tired.
Me : Come on. It's time to go.
Gerschy : I don't want to walk all the way back to the car.
Me : Neither do I but Art and Laz are ready to leave.
Gerschy : My feet hurt.
Me : Mine do, too. It's still time to go.
Gerschy : Carry me.
Me : Okay. We have been doing a lot of walking. You've got short legs.
Gerschy : It's not my fault that I'm not 1:1 scale.
Me : If you were 1:1 scale, you'd scare me.
Gerschy : Now you know how I feel.
Me : Good point. Let's go.
Gerschy : Where?
Me : Dinner and then home.
Gerschy : Good. This was fun...but I'm hot and tired now...and you won't let me bring the sphinx home. No fair.
Me : I don't think the owners of the park would appreciate that.
Gerschy : *yawns*

I can't wait until I get the new filters I ordered (one Red 25 and Yellow 8) to see how good those treat her. (I didn't use any filters for these...just naked glass!)
