Just Looking

Tales of love, death and more angst than you can shake a stick at - plus some comedy thrown in for good measure.

Well my babies aren't babies either anymore. The oldest is 16 and the youngest 4. Got an 14 year old inbetween those 2... odly enough hes the most work these days XD
I saw a video by bob ross on youtube and decided I should try it as I used to see his program on tv when I was 12 or something I think. Loved watching that and thought I would never be able to paint that way. Well it turns out I was right...on the painting like that atleased as I can paint. Just not like bob ross does XD

My husband has astma too and on some days he rather just stay in the car or not go with me at all because he has trouble breathing already. Luckely one of my favorit places which was one of the dustiest ones has just had a major clean up and they even put in vynil on the floors now instead of the carpet they had. So less dust, easier cleaned and easier visited by my husband ;)
BJD's:

I went to the Salvation Army downtown today. Not only did the allergies kick in, but I coughed the whole time I was there. *sigh* I did find a table top easel and a neat looking sherry glass! LOL! I won't be back there for awhile unless I bring a mask to wear.

Kids are wonderful. I've been lucky. None of the kids have been in too much trouble other than the usual teenager angst. Arguing with them about homework with the boys. The oldest boy likes to go to the local grocery store to get 12 packs of Pepsi. lol. He just likes to drive, I think.

Congrats on the clean up! Does your husband like to wander around and look, too?

Bob Ross rocks! I doubt I'll ever be that good of an artist but he's my inspiration. I still watch the videos of him on YouTube. lol! I need my Ross fix when I have a bad day.

So lovely! I love a good silent photostory. The posing looks very natural, and the little paintings are just perfect~ The first and second photos are the best--that contemplative posture~

Thank you! It seems that Elsie is a rather contemplative girl, too.

I really like the atmosphere in this. The art gallery (antiques store? Both?) looks so realistic without a million billion different props!

Art gallery/studio/music studio...and I just added a new piece of furniture to their place today. I'll post photos when I feel better.
