"The Penitent One"

Postby Neko Sandy » Thu Nov 24, 2011 3:37 am

(It's been about two and a half years since he left SOOM, came to me, and then went on a 'world tour' with Kiki-chan, but now he's finally really reveal himself to everyone! Enjoy! :-) )

Image

My name is Wabisuke.

Image

It means "The Penitent One."

Image

For as long as I've existed my head and shoulders have bent under the weight of thousands of moments of despair, betrayal, and loss.

Image

My chains scream of a million pains and agonies past.

Image

My hands have touched darkness so deep it will stain me forever.

Image

And still I wait knowing the moment will come when I can raise my head and prove to all that their battles, their war, their betrayal, and their abandonment have not crushed this gentle soul.

Image

Instead, they have merely lit the fire that has forged and tempered its steel....

Image

But dear Kami how am I supposed to prove ANYTHING!

Image

...when I have to wear these pink booties all the time?!

Bonus: Here's a few shots of the beautiful work those pink booties are protecting.

Outtake

Image

My voice speaks in a melodramatic monotony that has bored thousands to tears...

Image

Wait...what???

Image

Okay that's it! I'm going back to my box...

Those shots are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But the pink booties... I'm sorry, Wabi... *cue off-screen laughter*

Okay, better now. Poor Wabi, it is very hard to be dignified while wearing pink booties. Just remember, REAL men wear pink!

The outtakes... LOL. And I see it is still just as difficult to keep the clothes on him as before.

It was amazing to watch this boy take shape - the artwork Kiki put into those tattoo's is incredible! He is even more stunning in person. And who wants him to wear clothes when he looks that good? (Love the pink booties...)

First of all, Swan, bad joke is bad and you should be feel bad. That said, I will have to relay it to my husband who will get a HUGE kick out of it since he loves bad jokes like that so much. :P

As far as clothes go, Wabi should be humoring me. Eventually, all he is going to have for clothes is a fancy loincloth. He can flaunt all he wants in that. However, if he can't be good during the time it takes me to get it made, he just might find it made out of the PINK brocade I got instead of one of the others.

I guess at least it would match his booties then. LOL!

Zirconmermaid, I think the next thing I'm going to be posting to the board is going to be a history of Wabi's progress (along with some backstory) just because it was such an interesting thing to watch happen. Besides, it will remind Wabi of how much he owes Kiki. (If for no other reason than she found him a REAL wig and not the neon "fox fur" I originally had for him.)

Yannie, I'm glad you liked the pictures so much! I was worried about how bad my photo taking skills had gotten since I hadn't taken any in such a long time. I give most of the credit to the camera i got right before I went on hiatus, but I've also learned quite a few tricks from watching Kiki do her picture taking. I took over 150 pics and most of those were deleted right off hand, but in the rough there are always some gems as the saying goes. I just wish I had a nicer place to take pics in. Wabi deserves a much better back drop than my messy apartment and a red bath towel. X.x
