Risque shenanigans afoot in The Room? The rampant double entendres would be right at home in a motion picture farce: Carry On in The Room. Starring Sid James as Loki, 'natch.

1. Kudos to you for referencing Carry On because I genuinely don't know many people online who know those movies. I prefer some of the really early ones, but Matron has to be the best.

2. Loki says you need to get someone better looking. He will not doubt Sid James' talent, but... yes, better looking.

"Aunt Mavis, this is the one who calls herself Draculaura."
"Oh no..."
"Lucrezia?! Where have you been?"
"I ... it's not ... hello, Mavis."
"Wait, you're Aunt Lucrezia?! Why are you going by Draculaura?"
"I ... wanted to change who I was."
"But that name?"
"Nicu's got a point, it's a terrible name."
"...I like it."
"You'd be the only one."

I agree with Lala... I mean Ulla D... err... Lucrezia: Draculaura is a clever and adorable name!

Mavis would like to say that Lucrezia always has had questionable taste...

Nikolai presents himself as the perfect heir for his Grandfather, but there's a few things he would rather his family didn't know.

Like this tattoo, It's not that they're against tattoos, exactly, but Grandfather wouldn't exactly be pleased by it...

"M, you didn't cast like a personality switch, did you?"
"Nope. This nasty, whining, thing? This is the real her."
"Maybe you should let her know that while Fae can take a happily ever after away, that doesn't mean you can?"
"Oh. I might. Maybe. ... Let her sweat it out a bit more. When she apologises, I'll tell her."
"She won't do it."
"So much for the goodie-good Princess, then."

 It was all a ploy! A ruse! A trick! A sham!

And that silly, gullible Apple fell for it!

(And has revealed a rather unpleasant side of herself in so doing!)

Mal is pretty proud of her ability to manipulate people here. Not sure if she should be, but what do I know? She's Fae-kind, morality is a very different thing to them.

"You! You're her clone!"
"Magically created mirror image of her at 16 years old, technically."
"Then you can do it! You can follow the destiny!"
"... No."
"Why not? You're her, you've done it before!"
"Again, reflection of her at 16 - before the poisoning. And I don't want that life."
"It's your destiny!"
"My destiny is what I make it."
"But no one will let me make mine!"
"Apple, you want the good without paying attention to the bad. Leave Raven and Evie alone. She might not have done the poisoning at 16, but I know plenty of nasty little tricks that'll surprise you."
"...I'll get my happily ever after. I promise you."
"I hope you do. But stop forcing us to take the fall."

Apple needs to stop whining and begging to others and take matters in to her own hands. She might start by reading a few self-help and positive visualization books. I would recommend:

The Magic of Believing by Claude M. Bristol – a favorite book of famed pianist Liberace.

The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale – because a little bit of positive thinking would do Apple a lot of good!

The Secret by Rhonda Byrne – a more current take on the same basic ideas put forth by Bristol and Peale.

This is all excellent advice. Sadly, I don't think she'll listen.

"You really think I'll let you bite me, bat boy?"
"I think you're considering it."

It's not that Nikolai doesn't think they'll be annoyed.. but Grandfather would prefer to pick for him.

Of course not. She's Apple, after all. That's just the way she is.

Meanwhile, in another corner of the room, things are getting steamy! :o
