A Pinky Street Story: Mima the World Traveller Visits Hawaii

Because I am growing weary of a winter that seems as if it will never end, and because things are kind of slow around the forum, I have decided to share a story from a number of years ago (uhm... 2011, actually, so quite a number of years ago) that took place in warmer latitudes and cheerier times.

On the dearly missed Pinky-Street forum, members would occasionally send Pinky figures on travels, posting them off to hosts around the country and around the world. From each stop, the little adventurer and her host would share photos and stories from her visit. One of these little Pinky Street travelers was Mima, who, after adventures in the US and Canada, arrived in... well, I shall let Mima pick up the story from here:

Great photos! And I even got to see where that awesome staircase used to lead. What a cute little house, too bad you couldn't keep it. Can't wait to see of their adventures!

Yes, the staircase is the only part of the beach house I was able to save when I moved a couple (as in, three and a half) years ago. I keep meaning to try to rebuild the beach house. In fact, I recently (genuinely recently, as in a couple of weeks ago rather than months or years ago) purchased some craft supplies with this very project in mind. Well, among several other projects in a variety of scales I also have in mind.

So do I! That's why I'm posting this "archival" story!

Adorable and educational! I think school textbooks should look like this.

Yes, I think that textbooks presented in a "graphic novel" format might be both appealing and effective in an educational setting.

This is really awesome! The photos are beautiful, and I like all the info.

I can see how these Pinky Street Characters could easily travel, they are so small.

Yes, the Pinkys are a convenient size to tuck into a handbag, camera bag, or pocket.

Oh, wow! Your favorite nature documentary among all the nature documentaries in the photo-story section of the Dollieh Sanctuary forum? High praise, indeed!
