It was a quiet afternoon in the Doll House.



Prima, Niki, and Umka were hanging out at the kitchen table.



Marie and Lucette were gossiping.



Capri was into a good book....



Gunj was playing solitaire.

Umka: It sounds like someone is knocking on the door....



Prima: Who could that be?
Umka: I'll get it.



Umka: So.....someone named "Bonnie?"
Prima: I have a little sister named Bonnie, but she's back east at school.



Prima: Bonnie???? What are you doing here?



Bonnie: I came to see you, Prima!!!



Bonnie: Didn't you get the letter?

Bonnie: I'm so happy to see you Prima!
Prima: What letter?



Bonnie: The letter from the school, telling you what happened.
Prima: What happened?



Bonnie: The school had a big flood and they had to close. The pipes froze or something. It's really cold in Chicago.
Prima: Well...where the heck are we going to put you? The mini's dorm is really full.



Marie: She's so cute! She can stay with us out in the House of Haruka.



Prima: Of course she can stay here. But I'm going to have to call the school on Monday and see what's going on.


Prima: I still don't understand how you got here. It's a long trip from Chicago.

Bonnie: They put me on the airplane in Chicago. Then when you weren't at the airport to pick me up, I found a really nice family from Mendocino who gave me a ride home.



Bonnie: Aren't you happy to see me???



Prima: Of course I'm happy to see you! You're my little sister. But I still don't understand...



Bonnie: *yawn*



Bonnie: *ZZZZZzzzzzzz......*
Prima: Great. Now she's asleep.



Prima: Niki, could you please carry her out to House of Haruka?



Prima: I guess we can sort this out in the morning...

Anyway, my crew noticed the rugs and now I'll bet I get pestered to find some for them. (They've already been told that the saddle bag collection is not to be used as floor coverings.)

The one under the table looks like a mousepad carpet....my parent's got one as a gift from someone and they have no idea how many times it has nearly disappeared when I've been over there working on their PC!

Okay, that just cinches it. Bonnie is adorable.
