Tales of love, death and more angst than you can shake a stick at - plus some comedy thrown in for good measure.

The New Girl (x-post/JS)

What can I say? I was bored.

Meet the new girl :

Image
I spy something with my not so little eyes...

Image
It's white...and round...and chock full of SUGAR!

Image
Can you guess what I spy?!?

Image
Tee hee! Sugar fest!!!!!!!!!

Image
I...WANT...THAT...CAKE!!!!!!

Image
Mwa ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! MINE!!!! ALL MINE!!!!!!!

Image
Hmmm...I guess I can share.

And I'm in need of some massive amounts of sugar. Sugar shock right now sounds like a great idea!

For the curious, that's the palest Littlest Pet Shop Blythe that I could find as I have the pale 11cm Obitsu body. The top and hoodie fit, although the top is a belly shirt. The skirt is a three minute job I did with some sock yard and a crochet hook. The shoes came from a Kelly doll I found at the dollar store. (The outfit is on another doll.)

She's cute in a mischievous, "mostly harmless" kind of way. I'm really liking the set and the props too!

She is "mostly harmless", although she doesn't have her towel nor does she have access to an electronic thumb.

The set is actually an air hockey table. Ha ha ha! My boys stopped using it a few years ago so I sort of claimed it as the stage. Most of the props are what I've found in second hand stores and consignment shops. The photography on the walls actually are mine. The black and whites are actual prints. 120 format works great for 1/6 scale for the walls and for portraits of the larger 1/4 - 1/3 dolls.

Great idea, love your props! And your new LPS Blythe/Obitsu is super cute! :D
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.
