Lost in Translation

Unfortunately, even though they're getting along, Little Ari and Gilan haven't been able to communicate very well. Little Ari never learned Elvish as a little elf, and Gilan's not that good at English! But maybe there's some hope...
Little Ari: Sweet! My Macbook finally came in the mail today. I'll be able to blog!
Little Ari: And... maybe I'll be able to figure out what you're saying. Hm... maybe freetranslation.com or babelfish might be a good start?
Gilan: Heniach nin? Pedich Edhellen?
Little Ari: Uhh.... *types furiously*
Little Ari: Strangely enough, these sites don't translate Elvish. Maybe if you spoke Gaelic we'd have a fighting chance? Oh well, I guess we have some work to do. Hm... I wonder what they get for a dolly sized Rosetta Stone program? I could even let you borrow my Mac.
Gilan: ...? Hebo estel, Ari.
*Translation: 1) Do you understand me? 2) Do you speak Elvish? 3) Have hope
