Me: Since we couldn't go to Gobble-Con this past weekend, I thought I'd make it up to you guys by giving you an early Christmas gift. Enjoy!
Little Ari: Ooh!
Liddell: I get one, too?

Image
Little Ari: Gift, gift, gift!
Gilan [Elvish]: Careful, please...

Image
Little Ari: It's a tree!
Gilan [Elvish]: Tree? Trees shouldn't be in boxes.
Liddell: Oof!

Image
Gilan [Elvish]: Are you qualified to use those?
Little Ari: Careful! I don't want to cut you! (clearly doesn't understand him)

Image
Liddell: Um... a little help?

Image
Liddell: You elves are so single-minded...
Little Ari: Cut, cut, cut...!

Image
Gilan [Elvish]: Allow me (before you kill yourself).

Image
Liddell: It's nice having a man around the house, huh?
Little Ari: Sure is!

Image
Little Ari: Treeeeeeee!

Image
Little Ari: Squeeee!
Liddell: Can I help decorate it?!?!
Gilan [Elvish]: What... what IS this brittle monstrosity!? What do you people do to your trees!? This isn't NATURAL!

To be continued?

Oh Gilan...I know how you feel. My apartment's fake tree is coming back out after Thanksgiving. It's not the same but I hate killing a real tree. Post pictures after it's decorated please!

We've had a fake tree for years. During the bigger part of the year it lives in the closet in its box. I don't like cutting real trees, either, especially after reading Hans Christian Anderson's "Fir Tree." I think that's the name of the story.
And I think its so depressing seeing all the discarded trees lying around waiting to be picked up by the garbage men after Christmas.

Will do! ^.^

I actually love the smell of a fresh cut Christmas tree. Though I agree about how sad it is to see them on the side of the road. One nice thing, though, is that here on Long Island, during a set time after Christmas, they will come and pick up the trees and recycle them by using them to build up the sand burms on our beaches, which helps to prevent beach erosion. So at least they go to a good cause :)

XD My dolls are having similiar reactions to the tree. Haruka's the only one who's seen it before and she's making herself right at home in the one in the living room...Again. (She's trying to find the candy canes which haven't been put up yet.)
