#27 Ridiculously Long Episode of Epic Proportions Resulting in an Eventual Christmas Party
Part 2: Micah Promotes Racial Stereotypes
“… no that chic was totally into you man,” Lee said. “You should’a got her digits.”
“Wasn’t my type.”
“Shhh, Micah is sleeping,” Ivan said.
“Not for long,” Lee snickered.
AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
“WET WILLIES!” Ryan screamed.
“Dreadful creatures,” Foster said. “Human boys are no better than pack animals.”
“Like wolves picking off the weakest of the lot,” Foster said with disdain. “They’re going after the scholar, the skinny boy certainly has no martial skill and…”
“KYA!” Micah gave Ryan a hearty toss over his shoulder before Lee pounced on his back.
“Yield or lose an arm,” Micah said with glee.
“Owowowowowow… uncle!”
“I stand corrected,” Foster said, eyes wide.
“Aha!” Micah snickered. “What did you expect, I’m Asian. I reinforce race-based stereotypes for having studied martial arts MY ENTIRE LIFE.” Micah did a victory dance that was mostly just awkward wiggling rather than anything that resembled a dance. Having a girlfriend has done much for his confidence. :-p
“Ow, we were just playing.”
“That was so awesome,” Ryan said. “Do it again.”
“Hey, put the pieces back on the War Board,” Ivan said. “I was winning.”
“I was winning you cumbersome lout,” Foster said.
“Stupid karate…” Lee pouted. “You’re not Bruce Lee.”
“Abe and Jillian should be getting here soon for the Christmas party,” Ryan said.
“I don’t care about any stupid party,” Lee pouted some more.
“Oh look at this, your Queen is now mine.” Ivan waved Foster’s game piece. “I’ve seduced all your princesses and married your women. Through marriage-alliance I’ve conquered your kingdom and the people love me. Hand me the keys.”
Foster snorted in disdain. “My wives would have nothing to do with you. In fact, all four are warrior-elite and would defeat you readily. I should like to see it in fact."
“Four wives?” Ivan offered Foster a little bow.
Ina returned to the apartment with tears in her eyes. “Human girls are so mean,” she said and related a story about girls at the mall making fun of her. “I applied for a job at the Anime store at the mall but they asked for papers I didn’t understand. I ran out of green paper monies and the food vendors wouldn’t give me anything to eat.” Ina cried. “I miss home, I miss my snail, I miss my magic.”
“I told you to make your tail and ears invisible but you didn’t listen,” Foster waved his hand at her. “There’s no such thing as sprites in this wretched realm. Dead trees, no magic… your animals don’t even talk.”
“But I am a fox-sprite,” Ina sobbed. “I’m not a human girl.”
Micah closed his eyes and squeezed her tight.
For now things are okay. For now I can still hold her.
