Dollieh Sanctuary

My friend's mother died recently- she was in her 90s. She loved dolls and had collected them over the years. My friend found this suitcase in her things and gave it to me. I opened it and found it was FULL of beautiful old doll clothes!


Amazing clothes- a lot of hand-embroidery, Victorian cutwork, and so forth.

That lacy little dress is gorgeous. Old doll clothes are just amazing.

They are so beautiful- so detailed and you can't buy fabric or lace of this quality any more- at least, not at JoAnn fabrics!!!! I'll try to get pictures of the rest of it tomorrow. It was a little overwhelming going through it!

I'm sorry to hear about your friend's mother. It was really nice of your friend to give you such a beautiful gift, those clothes are gorgeous. Older doll clothes are always so beautiful, looking forward to more pictures when you are able to.
