First part: Into the woods.
A band of orcs ambushed Chandira and her mentor Vyenna, as they traveled through vast woodlands of Ashenvale. Vyenna fought with the orcs outnumbering and outpowering her, giving Chandira moment of time to flee. “Stay alive, girl, deliver the message”, were last words Chandira heard her mentor say.
And so Chandira ran. Snow was deep, but she continued as quickly she could.
Moments - or maybe hours - later, she stumbled and fell.
She tried to get up, but she was too weak, too tired.
Her eyes filled with tears, and she curled up. Chandira hoped she had lost any pursuers she might had. Soon she fell asleep, despite her fear.
Cold woke Chandira from her restless sleep. Forest around her was silent and unmoving.
"I have to get up", she thought. "I have to keep moving…"
Slowly she rose to her feet, and started to walk. Away from the ambush site and deeper to unknown woods.
Chandira waded in the snow. There was no signs that anyone might follow her. But there was no relief - only numb emptiness inside of her.
She was snapped out of her thoughts by loud rustling.
"The orcs!"
"They have found me! I have to hide!"
Chandira darted behind large tree nearby.
And she waited the orcs come to her sight. But no one came.
"There is not anyone but me… I wonder, what the sound was."
"I should keep moving. I have to find someone- someone friendy."
She looked around, she knew the Night elves dwelled in these woods. But she hadn’t seen any settlement after town of Astranaar.
Chandira took one look to the direction she’d came from. She couldn’t go back. But where she should go? She did not know.
