Prince Phil's tunic mod

They're too sexy for their clothing - but they have to wear them anyway! Did you buy it? Did you make it? Who cares - let'm strut their stuff here!

Prince Phil's tunic mod

I picked up a Prince Phillip for my Aurora off of ebay, but really didn't like the way his tunic fit. It was all bunched up around his neck like this:

I used a bit of red sateen ribbon to make a facing for him and gave him a notched neckline more in keeping with the way the tunic is in the movie. I also had to alter the shoulder line a bit and then shortened the collar.

I added a chain just for the heck of it. If I can find a nice medallion in the right size, I'll add that in too, but so far no luck finding the right one. Then I decided I wanted his hands to look better so I cut his fingers apart with an exacto and heated them to bend them a bit but I think they need more work. Finally, I used a sharpie to give him some lips. I wish Disney would give us a better looking Phillip...I think his head is too narrow and he needs rooted hair, but my Aurora seems happy enough with him.

Thanks! I'll keep hoping for a better Phillip in the future from Disney.
