Maybe combining white and blue bows would be interesting, but it looks great like that too. I have a cheapo sewing maching that I hardly use for doll clothes (except the zig-zag stitch to prevent edges from fraying). Since they're so small it's usually easier to do it by hand where you can control where every single stitch goes.
