UNFANCY SOCK JACKET

They're too sexy for their clothing - but they have to wear them anyway! Did you buy it? Did you make it? Who cares - let'm strut their stuff here!

Really nice sock jacket - looks great on him! You should post it on the FB page too - I bet Emory would like it!

Wow. For an ex-sock that looks really good. :) I wish I could see the tutorial, but I just get a page saying I need to sign in, and all my dolls would be off-topic over there.

I never thought of taking advantage of an argyle print in that way, though, and I'll have to see sometime if I can't figure it out. :)

Here Kitty Kitty.

Sorry, every time I see one of these with a cat head I want to scratch behind it's ears. But this little guy looks like he might not take too kindly to that.

The sock tutorials into doll clothes are among some of my favs of any doll clothes tuts. You did amazing on the jacket. The stiches look like they might be from the making of the actual sock. Like the yarn used to make the white part of it is jumping from place to place on the back. I didn't know they were stitches from sewing until I read your post.

*U*
WOW TOO MANY NICE COMMENTS
HELP AGH DROWNING IN EMBARASSED WARM FUZZY FEELINGS
GUH THANK YOU
Me and the boy appreciate it! ´. u.`

My camera's not great so that's probably why the white stitching looks a little bit more like it blends with the pattern, OR I'm just being an overly critical nut which is entirely possible.

BUT YES WOW THANK YOU. I've hit my weekend so I'm going to try and get another article of clothing knocked out, possibly from another wayward sock; I used to have one hell of a sock habit, so I've got a wide selection. :B

Not-wayward socks shall be sacrificed as well. At least one of every five pairs must be sacrificed.

I've bought new dollar-store socks specifically with the intent of sacrificing them for doll clothes. I absolutely love what you've done here, CrusherVic, and will attempt it myself one day for sure. As someone else bemoaned, I can't view the original tutorial as I'm not a member of that forum, but I'm sure there are other tutorials, and I'm likely to have to improvise somewhat anyway to fit my dolls and my visions. But, wow, what an inspiration!
