Tailored Cloak

I've had this project in mind for a few months. Finally got around to it.
This is the second version. Just a few more changes and I'll be happy with it.

The welts ended up at slightly different heights.
I don't have the right shade of blue to do the buttonholes tonight, so the buttons are all pinned in place.
Except for the buttons on the ends of the welts; they're stitched down. So, of course, now I want them on the other end of the welts.
And, speaking of welts, the welts have already been moved once farther to the side seam, but I think I want them even farther from the center of the cloak.
I used white for the arm slits (giant bound buttonholes). Should have used some blue instead. Oh well. That's why I make these trial garments.
The lining I chose was salvaged from a skirt I made many years ago. The lining is some horrible slippery polyester crepe that stretches out of shape as soon as you touch it. Not using it again.
