Silk on silk

I made this before I even got a 1/4 doll. Imagine my surprise (I should know better) when it turned out that this sewing pattern designed for a Tonner Madra Lord doll required hand removal to get the sleeves on.
It is pretty good on Ellowyne, although it is long in the waist. I let out the waist a little bit, knowing that it would be for an Ellowyne, not a Madra.
I'm planning on getting the friend who made the necklace to make a matching belt for this outfit.

Lovely. Kinda like outfits in this style since the coat part has a certain flair.

Kind of a 50s vibe. Would be even more effective if I put horsehair tape in hem to help coat skirt stand away from dress.
