So, I got my first obitsu doll last week. I'm so pleased with her! Not the best picture but I only have my cellphone for these things. Poor thing is starting to die on me lately.

First time I've sewn any doll clothes in a good long while. The lil shoes are from a old old keychain that I've had since I was around 5-8yrs old. Happily, the magnets in her feet still stick to her base through them. The dress is only a tester but I like how it came out for my first go with darts. Teeny waist!

Ideas of how to make the wig stick to her head a bit better? I tried a rubber band for a day which kinda helped but it was rather long for her head.

Hopefully she'll have a few other outfits by the end of the week.

Your tester fabric is nice; it can be so hard to find good scale fabric for the little dolls. I see you have your priorities straight - she already has some jewelry :D
Sorry, no good ideas for the wig - her head is a lot littler than I'm used to fiddling with.

Her dress is very nice. I use a dab of glue from my low temp hot glue gun to keep wigs on tiny dolls. I have also used Alene's tacky glue, but you have to let the doll dry completely-and I keep playing with mine.

Susan,
Haha, the "necklace" is a toe ring I never wore much at all. I've been itching to use this fabric for so long. I have enough to make one more dress with my left overs. I found some of my other tiny print fabric and think I might try that next. I have much more of those prints.

Richila,
Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. :)

Use Velcro, there's a certain thin type of velcro that has glue on one side and velcro teeth on the other, check your craft store.

Oooh watch what you say. she's gonna make you make more outfits. Dolls love it when their owners start to sew for them.

She looks great, and the pic helps me see what blue hair looks like on a normal skin :)

You'll definitely be making her more clothes, one outfit is never enough for a gal!
