Clothing Projects Finished & Ongoing

I never sewed much before getting my boys, but ever since I've been polishing my skills with tons of tiny clothes. Everything I've made so far is hand-sewn - I bought a small machine, but got so frustrated trying to get it set up that I haven't bothered with it again. Besides, I kind of like being able to sit on the couch and sew while watching TV. I thought I'd start by posting some of the things I've finished so far.

This is the first project that came out decent - MSD pajamas. I still need to make matching ones for his boyfriend.

And I made this little flannel coat and belt for him.

My little boy, Paul, has had the most clothes made for him because he's an odd size at 35 cm. I can modify MSD clothes to fit, but I've had fun making him things too.

Shorts with suspenders and a matching cape - I didn't make the shirt.

A little velvet overall thing.

Finally, Renton's my D&D character, and I usually draw him in a certain style of outfit I haven't really seen for sale. So I finished this for him this week:

Next project, a matching top hat. 8-)

Great job on the clothes :)

Where did you get that scooter?

Thanks! I found the scooter at TJ Maxx for $12.99. Even though my boys are from the 1800s, I couldn't resist it - I love scooters.

These are very nice. The third one is my fave. He needs a hat and pipe. Mini Sherlock Holmes :3

I totally need to find a tiny pipe for one of my characters, hehee. Paul, the one in that outfit, wouldn't approve, though. He's my 19th-century Doogie Howser and he thinks smoking is bad!

Recently Trethowan had a BJD-underwear-making party and I decided to make frilly panties and a nightgown for him - he crossdresses sometimes for his boyfriend. After finishing the fitting, I had planned to put him back in his boy clothes...but it's so darned cute I left him like this. XD

Image

The nightgown ties in the back like a halter and is backless to the waist. It was fun doing the lacy trimming and the tiny bows on his shoulders. It's hard to see in the photos, but the main stitching on the top of the nightgown is with metallic gold embroidery thread, since I didn't have pink on hand.

Robin and Paul each got a new shirt this week. I got the teeny buckles from Volks. They have a great selection of tiny notions. :3

I really like those two little Victorian looking outfits you did for Paul! The suit him beautifully
