AAAAAAANNND... Another preview for Ivory Stardust: As the subject says, this is the coat requested for Spencer. It is red velveteen with red silk dupioni collar and revers and pocket flaps. All three pockets are working pockets. It's done except for buttons and buttonholes. The coat is fully lined, with set-in sleeves. There are NO exposed seams. The model is a Hypermaniac Lacrima - his tentative name is Augustus. He is really wishing he could keep the coat, so eventually I will probably make him one.

Zirc,
You need to open a sewing dojo so we can be your students and call you sensei. You would teach us "the way of the fabric".

I need to learn "the way of the pocket." All your working pockets are fabulous looking. The most that can be said for my pockets is that they "work".

Well, actually, they are made exactly the same as people pockets - just follow the instructions in a good sewing book! They are actually surprisingly easy to do!

My boy is trying to channel Jon Pertwee as the third Doctor Who!
