This is a doll dress I purchased on ebay from jadepennicreation. It's basically just a stretch velvet tube, but so clever and looks wonderful on my girl. The sleeves are separate from the dress.

However, it was just not bling enough for me. So I sewed on some silver trim on the seams & hems and a silver lace applique on the bottom of the dress. Then I sewed on some flatback jewels and beaded on the lace and around the gems and on the trim. I found some silver lacy material and lined the inside of the sleeves and put beaded silver trim on the hems of those too. Finally, I made a new belt from a silver toggle and some silver ribbon which I also beaded. I still need to find her some silver shoes, but I'm happy with the way it came out.

I decided to do the bottom area so it wouldn't cause any problems with putting the dress on since it has to stretch up over her hips. Some of the beads are clear AB's and they add to the shine but don't show up in photos as well as I'd like. The necklace was made from some rhinestone chain I got at Walmart and the pendant is a Swarovski bead. The crown is from a Tonner Narnia figure (Susan I think) and was also purchased off ebay.

I think she looks very regal and like she is saying to me, "Now, buy me a Prince...or a Princess...I'm versatile."

I also rescued this old jewelry box:

and turned it into a dresser for her accessories:

Thanks! Now I want to bead an entire dress for her, but I'm thinking something short and tight. I'm also lusting after another Ellowyn doll. Sigh, they ARE like potato chips!
