I think it looks great for a scarf and rubber band!!!!

I used to do that all the time with my Old Barbies. Taking scrap pieces of cloth and wraping them around with rubber bands. Made some interesting outfits

My favorite Barbie clothing was this old pink square of t-shirt material that was really soft and had a paint spot on one corner... it could be a skirt, or a shawl, or sometimes a baby blanket

Even though my Barbies had like ten tons of actual Barbie clothes, I would make clothes out of old socks and stuff >_<

I kind of wish I hadn't given all my old Barbie stuff to my younger cousins when I was a teenager, because then my Obitsu girls would have a lot more clothes to choose from...

same here. I wish I hadn't given all mine away now.

And the hilarious thing is, right after I decided I was too old for Barbies, I got really into anime and started collecting Sailor Moon dolls...

So, yeah... I didn't really ever give up dolls.
