Knit & Crochet clothing

They're too sexy for their clothing - but they have to wear them anyway! Did you buy it? Did you make it? Who cares - let'm strut their stuff here!

Knit & Crochet clothing

Postby Minnake » Fri Nov 11, 2011 1:24 pm

I'm not much of a sewer, but I really enjoy knitting and crocheting for dolls. :3 So I decided to make a thread for stuff that I make!
I have been doing these as a hobby maybe about an year, with some off-periods too. So I'm not professional. I just wanted to share what I have made! This isn't everything I have made, I tried to choose some different ones. Otherwise this would be soooo looooong post. xD

Mostly I enjoy making shirts and dresses in Pullip/similar size. I dunno why, maybe because they are quite small and the work is fast done. xD I don't like working with the same thing for too long. 8(

And long sleeved knit shirt.

I made patterns for these three, and I have been doing lots of them in different colors and sizes. xD No idea of posting them all, being so similar. x3

One pic of brown Pullip sized dress anyway.

Crochet orange bear hat. Lacking of details, isn't it? xD

Crochet bunny hat!

Tiny hat from some extra yarn.

And matching socks. These were my first ever knit socks! I don't suggest anyone to make their first ones for 3cm leg. @__@

Another crochet dress. Dunno why this one was a close up pic. :o

Aaaaaand I don't know if this is counted as fashion but anyway! xD

Crochet stuffed toy for BJD! Amigurumi actually, but they go so well as toys for dolls, and I enjoy making them. :3

Hope you liked them! I'll post more when I get something done. :3
At the moment I'm knitting a scarf and crocheting a bag for myself, so it might take a while before I do something for dollies again.

You have such talent! And I'd totally buy that gray dress if I saw it for sale. I love it!

I do crochet okay but my knit stuff usually ends up looking pretty darned bad. I usually stick with making sock items when it comes to knits. You definitely have the knack. I love that little wine sweater and the frog cap in particular. You should make those and sell them on Etsy. They'd go well. They're very cute.

You make great stuff. I love the fangs on the tiny green hat. That's a cute touch.

Those are adorable!
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

These are all wonderful, but the hats are to die for.
Do you use lace weight yarn?

magkelly: Actually I do have Etsy, but for some reason I don't sell my works there too much. But maybe I could try to be more active with my Etsy in the future, when I get more things done and the wardrobes of my own dollies are full of knit stuff. x)

EAB: I don't think that these are counted as lace weight. Mostly I use yarn called Novita Rose Mohair. But I think that it is Finnish brand and not familiar to anyone? @__@ It's 65% acryl and 35% mohair.

These are really cute. I also knit a lot, but lately things have been way too big for my Moxie Teenz. I think its because I'm waiting for my hujoo Dana bjd .... hope its this week.
