My friend Kristyn (who took the pic of us at MobiCon last weekend) was kind enough to let me borrow her computer's webcam to take pics of Cherry's costumes. I'm still waiting for the professional photos, and I don't wait well, so here are my amateur attempts (with bad lighting, makeshift backdrop, and hurried costume changes).
Unfortunately, the lighting in our dining room is not good for photoshoots, especially with a webcam.
Slightly more visible picture of Ri-ri's veiled face.
I'm sorry you can't see the detail of the dress in these pics. Hopefully I'll get my camera functional and take pics in better light later on.
Cherry and her goth Loliloopsy, in the outfit she wore Friday at the con.
A full frontal view. I made everything she's wearing except for the boots.
Just for fun, a pic of my repainted Pepper Pots and Pans all by her loli lonesome.
"Oh, pitiful soul lost in the darkness..."
"...would you like to see what death is like?" We loves us some Hell Girl, yes, we does.
The back of her Enma Ai kimono, showing the box knot on her obi.
I've shown this costume before, I made it right after I got Cherry two years ago, but it's held up pretty well, I think. It's Mina from The Doll Master.
Poor Cherry...she always cries at the end of that movie because she feels sorry for Mina.
Because I threatened it...Cherry as "Other Girl", with a "Snowflake" doll, inspired by the Creamsicle meme!
Cherry in her summer hanbok. She has three: a traditional red-and-white one, a lavender one for late winter/early spring, and this one. I still need to make her one for autumn...
The outfit I've rendered dozens of times, literally. Cherry's "default" wig and outfit, in all its crossbone heart glory.
Last pic for tonight, me and my girl, thanking you for your attention. Peace!
