Sleek Summer Sheath [modeled by Enn & Elby]

My aunt gave me a giant ol' bag of quilting scraps, what with my penchant for fabric scrap collecting for doll clothes, and while trying to make something completely different, I managed to make this lovely little sheath dress!

My sewing machine hates velcro at the mo', so it's just pinned in place. xD Note the little extra panel so it slips over giant MSD booties.

And it sits down nicely, too!

Glamor shot! I guess this dress is not -too- girly, even for Enn!

Here's Elby, my Unoa, in it to show how it looks on a flat chest. :P

This turned out a lot better than I thought! Made it without a pattern--or, rather, made up the pattern as I went--but if there's enough interest, I could probably make a pattern to share. For those without any sewing skill, is this something you'd pay for..?

Super cute, dear! LOVE that fabric pattern for that dress! (I'm a bit of a fabric collectomaniac as well~)

Thanks!! There are so many cool prints in this giant bag. >w> I only wish I had some in larger pieces than 2"x10" xDD

MrKaffiened, your sewing skill is so much higher than mine! Anyway, great job; it's a really cute dress.

Hahaha, I didn't start out brilliant at sewing, yarwel. xD It takes persistence and practice! But! It only took me a couple years/couple projects to get pretty handy with my sewing machine. Now if only I could get handsewing down like that... D:
