And I don't want Skittles wrappers any more. It doesn't look doable for me to make Monster outfits out of the wrappers and keep the bag logos intact, which was the plan.
So unless there is another candy that has six different rainbow colored wrappers I could work in to Monster outfits I need to rethink what the used to be Skittles now probably just Rainbow girls will wear.
I have printable fabric but my printer isn't up to the task. I may investigate having the printing done elsewhere if the cost isn't ridiculous.

Lining the bags won't quite work and the logo is a bit too big for the Monsters. I haven't completely given up. If I can figure out a screen print stencil that might do it.
Does Starburst come in red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple? I need all six colors.

The printable fabric sounds like a great idea. That way you could print out an actual pattern with the scanned wrapper set and sized as needed. Maybe a Kinko's nearby can do it for you for a reasonable price?

I'm going to check. My plan would be to have a line drawing of the patterns then fill in with the designs.
As long as it's some sort of We <3 Rainbows thing I'll be happy.

Iron-ons that you print from your inkjet printer.

Instead of the transfers, try Bubble Jet Set. There's no plasticky or stiff feel to the fabric afterwards.
Soak fabric in Jet Set solution for five mins, allow to dry. Then iron fabric to shiny side of freezer paper. Cut to size appropriate for your printer, run fabric/freezer paper through ink-jet printer like regular sheet. Let dry for 1/2 hour. Remove newly printed fabric from freezer sheet and rinse in mild detergent to remove excess pigment.
It's best used with cotton or silk fabric.
This is the stuff that quilters use for their home-made/printed fabric. I researched this stuff a couple of years back before finding out about spoonflower. ^.~

I have the quilting fabric to print on that I've used before, I would have to get ink and hope my printer is up to the job, hope I did the outfit pattern right... Some times I'm just that lazy :p
The best idea I've had recently is to make the outfits first out of solid color fabric then stencil the Skittles logo in white and paint the rainbow on with glitter paint. That way I know everything will fit and the logo will be in the right place.
