This is Rose all dressed up for Halloween.
Image
It's made from the 'Cute & Colorful' free pattern on the Antique Lilac website. (I'm ashamed I don't remember her name...Martha, I think?) I was going to make a matching outfit for Joan, but I ran out of time. I'm hoping I can make some for Christmas tho if I find the right materials.
Joan is wearing a bustier and skirt that I modified from a 'designs by Jude' pattern I got off ebay.

It was originally a dress pattern. I did some beading on the top and I wanted to make an overskirt, but can't find the right material that looks good so far, so it's going to be stalled for a while I'm afraid.

I love Rose's outfit, it's really fun. I'll have to go hit my stores to get some great Halloween material for next year. Joan's outfit is really pretty, and looks great as is but I can't wait to see it finished, too! The bead work is amazing and really adds to it.

Thanks all! The pink material is a recycled bridesmaid dress from the '80's. Rose's tights/arm warmers/tube top all came from a pair of Halloween knee socks I got for cheap.

What beautiful work :-) Thanks for the tip about the Martha Boers pattern. I didn't know Narae patterns would fit Ellowyne.

They do take a little adjusting, but just baste seams first. I had to take in the tights quite a lot.
