I went to a Garden Party... new pictures added 7/21

I twisted my ankle last week and had an oddly good result. Being forced to sit down and keep my foot elevated inspired me to sew.
Astarte seems to live her life in a garden, most of her clothes are just the thing to wear while wandering around in a formal garden.
Her dresses seem to force themselves upon me. Earlier this week I was walking through a thrift store (reveling in my ability to walk around for an hour!) when a toddler outfit jumped into my hands and forced me to take it home and make this dress.
I used James' Dollfie Dream halter top pattern for the bodice (modified slightly to make it more modest).
This next one I made about a year ago. Once again a toddler dress demanded my attention. I firmly told it NO and walked away. It did no good This also uses a modified version of James' Dollfie Dream halter top pattern.
I've got a third one in the works - all it needs is the snaps sewn on ( and the wig brushed out and the pictures taken and posted - you know how it goes.
