Cherry's Christmas Gothic Lolita Dress
Posted: Tue Dec 17, 2013 11:04 amPretty, sunny, not-so-cold day outside, so I took a few snaps of Cherry's brand new Christmas dress.
Entire outfit made by me except for the boots. The dress is made of plaid woolen Christmas ribbon, the skirt done in a broomstick layered pleat. The ribbon bows are black velvet, and the fingerless gloves are bits of stretch lace that are the perfect width (or length, in this case). It would probably be more stylish with black stockings, but Cherry insisted on the candy stripes for a festive and whimsical touch.
This picture is the current wallpaper on my phone. I love her "mimosa" wig, and the color of her eyes is just amazing.
Yet another "OMG Mama's perching me on the rim of the stagnant birdbath" picture. I can't help it, it's the only body of water except for the creek nearby, which is even worse and a fairly long walk.
Sitting on the roof of our Mercury. her hands were supposed to be doing the heart thing but the angle wasn't quite right.
It isn't so cold outside today, so Riri actually managed to coax Johnny out for a few snaps. (Johnny really, REALLY hates the cold.) Unfortunately, you can see the shadow of my phone in this pic. Whups. :B
Remember the mistletoe in the CGI picture I did? Johnny decided to put it to good use. XD
The wind's picking up a bit, and it's a little chilly, but Cherry will keep her beloved hubby warm. <3
One last closeup of my girl. Have I mentioned lately that, playline head or not, I truly love this doll?
