Doll Reader, Haute Doll & IDEX oh my

As you know, Haute Doll is a few pages inside Doll Reader now. I get my Doll Reader digitally each month. Inside the front cover of Haute Doll is the ad for the 2011 IDEX BJD mixer and the centerpiece doll is a Planet Doll Roseanne designed by Connie Lowe and Val Zeitler.

She is pretty cute, not as cute as my Shriara, but I could be a little biased.

Yu aren't biased at all. Most of the dolls I've seen in those mags have the same spaced out looks to them, the face is usually pouty and smokey, and they'll probably be wearing something fussy and frilly if not gothic lolita. It's like they purposely look for the worst angles to make the dolls look awful and keep people from getting one.

terrible faceup. I'm a fan of fussy and frilly and lolita, so I like the outfit, but that faceup! And I think the camera also washed her out. She looks like she has been slapped and is crying!
