Anyone do glass fusing with a microwave?

Postby DollyKim » Tue Jun 23, 2015 6:07 am

I've seen a glass fusing kit with a "kiln" you use in a microwave. Has anyone tried it? Some of the molds for the powders attracted me.

I'm curious about trying out making some glass stuff but not keen about any that need flame.

I have heard of this, but not tried it... mostly because I am not permitted to do experiments using equipment that is used for food, and we don't have a spare microwave. It's kind of on the 'maybe someday' list.
