I discovered that using the photo copy filter, I have photo shop elements, you can get a coloring book look to your pictures

Another tip...if you print out pages to color from a home laser printer/laserjet, spray with a fixative like Krylon Krystal Klear and let dry before coloring to prevent the ink from smearing as you work.

Is that for certain kinds of printers? I don’t own one so I use where ever.
And does anyone know if Blurb or Lulu use certain papers that work well?

Most home printers are ink jet. Commercial printers used by places like Kinko's are laser. In any case, if I was printing off a sheet at a time, I'd fix it first. Even some commercially made coloring books will smear depending on what medium you use. I generally use gel pens these days with some crayola markers mixed in.
