Has this ever happen to anyone on eBay?

I was asking a vendor some questions about a doll. When I asked about seeing the stamp on the back of the head, they cut me off. Now I can't place the order or contact them anymore. They had good feedback and are supposed to be a dealer.

That's probably a sign they're not an actual dealer and are selling recasts.

It had crossed my mind, that they were selling knock offs. I ended up ordering from another vendor.
