Projects: In Progess or Ideas? What'choo Workin' On?

So on Sunday, I got this gigantic, hairbrained idea, to make all my creative decisions for the next three months in advance, so I wouldn't have so much decision making paralysis. Plus, I was stressing out about all my current creative projects. So, I decided to table them all, and have an Equestria Girls Summer!

For the next 3 months, I'll be watching every Equestria Girls movie and animated special, reading every EG book I own, taking out and sprucing up the dolls I already have, and drawing fanart of each of the main characters. I have it all broken down into a schedule, so I have different shit to do each week. The first week is Twilight Sparkle week, so I'm drawing Twilight Sparkle, and working on her doll. I'm painting her shoes to be movie accurate, and sewing her a fabric shirt, since she came with a rubber one and I don't like rubber clothes for dolls.

Read somewhere that someone made a spinning wheel of fortune thing with all their projects on it to help them pick a project.

Or gather the projects together by similar activity- everything to cut out is here, everything to sew together is there.

I FINALLY started one of the reroots I've had on the back burner . . . For around six years.

I've sewn the front half of Mega Gardevoir's dress to the inner skirt and am working on the back half. "The finish line is finally within sight," I say, hoping that I'm not punished for my hubris with another week of sewing.

Just remember to pace yourself. Dolls appreciate the effort and want you to do the best to your abilities.

I'm sort of back at square one for setting up my spooky doll display. On one hand I got two more trinket shelves to display the mini stuff and on the other the shelves are just a smidge too tall for the bigger shelf I intend to put them on :/ And the trinket shelves are too heavy to put in the dollhouse.

The first 3 weeks of my Equestria Girls Summer have been a success! I've gotten 3 Equestria Girls dolls to a displayable state, and made fanart of each too. Taking a break this week to prepare for an anime convention. There's gonna be a doll collector's meetup next Saturday, so I'll get to see some doll people in person, which is always a plus.

Oh how I miss the doll group meet-ups! Our group stopped meeting monthly years before I moved 3 hours away. They still have a hard time meeting because everyone is so spread out now.
