Where can I find?...

Postby DollyKim » Thu May 12, 2011 2:35 pm

Little jewelry charms I can paint up to look like my dolls? I've tried some Wee People http://dolfielittles.typepad.com/.a/6a0 ... 970b-800wi but I'm not completely sold on the idea of using them, especially because the paint chips off to easily. I'd like something no taller than an inch and light weight that I can put on a necklace or bracelet. Even if it's a bead shaped like a kokeshi doll. Or if there's a way to make itsy bitsy light weight dolls I can incorporate jump rings in to.

My mind is a bit of a blank on this and could use some help.

You could try 3D printing?

Not wanting to go there yet, I was hoping for something I could find online or in a craft store. The Wee People are shaped like gingerbread people, and I've seen kokeshi cell phone charms but I need to get a bunch in bulk. Even cake topper people could work if they come small enough and I can put jump rings on them.

Shrinky Dinks are the best ever. You can even print on them with a ink-jet printer.

I have some printable Shrinky Dinks packed away somewhere :/ and I've had mixed luck getting them to cook right.
