Your dolls' "looks" xposted

Postby DollyKim » Tue Feb 28, 2012 8:34 am

Because I need to make myself do this for my dolls...

If your doll was for sale in a store what "default" clothing and accessories would be in their box and further more what alternate versions and/or additional fashion and accessory packs would come out?

For example the one that got me started, Nicholas, would come in a black Victorian suit with an Inverness cloak, deerstalker hat, and magnifying glass (a Sherlock Holmes starter set). The first outfit pack would be a Regency/Beau Brummell suit because that seems to be the second most frequent historic costume he gets put in.

I think I'd buy Nicholas and his accessories (have to save up).

Marie Celeste would come in art nouveau glory, with her Fortuny dress, hand-stenciled velvet cloak with hood, silver-printed silk shawl and silk sandals.
Another outfit would be 18th century: a panniered gown, elaborate wig and feather headdress. She'd have a fan and 18th century court shoes with rhinestone buckles.
Then she might have a 1920s drop-waist gown with beading, t-strap shoes and another fan (feathers, this time). She'd have a '20s bobbed wig, lace mitts, and a sheer cloche.

Autumn would probably come with her blue summer dress, white coat and little black slip on shoes.
Her second pack would be her teeshirt, black trousers and hoodie .
I think her third would be one of her evening dresses. The box would be huuuuuge XD
feeling unwelcome. It was a good sanctuary while it lasted. I'll miss you guys. .

Lola would come in her lolita purple dress with a purple kimono, with coordinating shoes. She'd also come with a hairbrush.

Gabby would come with her lime green shiny outfit, and a set of exercise clothes I'm working on currently. And sneakers. And pompoms for her pigtails.

Joe would be easy. She'd be in her default clothes she came with, a pink and white tracksuit with matching shoes. She'd also have her balloons and backpack. Second outfit would have to be childlike sundress.

My other dolls would be harder.
I'm mostly on Tumblr now.

Aisling would be in jeans and a modestly revealing top, like a handkerchief shirt or an open peasant blouse, maybe a crop top if it was just right. She would also come with a fairy-esque Renaissance style dress and underthings to double as pajamas. A clothing expansion would include a set of blue modern pajamas and fuzzy slippers with a bonus stuffed animal.

Fionan would be dressed in a grey changsan with a set of modern lounge clothes with something cuddly or khaki slacks and a loose white shirt with a book, maybe glasses or something studious.

Vivi would come in a punk inspired outfit of some kind, including jewelry, with an equally punk-ish dress and a skateboard. She would also most likely have a pajama expansion with snacks and a baggy nightshirt with worn sweats.

Aria would come in a sundress with her bear suit.

Yukine and In'ei would come in a pack together with a bed. The box would probably have to be censored.

Obi-Chun would come in her default outfit. There would be a cardboard 'wooden' dummy training post for you to fix together and plug into a dojo training ground backdrop thats in her box. Throw in a little towel, a workout bag that you can steal as a very small coin purse, a water bottle, a pair of handcuffs and a pistol (she is sort of a cop). And a Chinese bun and a bowl of noodles (blame her artwork for this) On and throw in a standee as well.

Her expansion sets would include a light blue cheongsam, a long sleeve Chinese blouse with skirt and a sleeveless Chinese blouse with 3/4 pants. Some matching shoes to accompany those. And stuff like her casual, her ICPO uniform and her alternate version(the Chinese style one and the Alpha outfit in particular) and as well some joke version costumes from her other games (School uniform, Cheer leader, Jill Valentine and accompanying weapons) as well as artwork (Because I want some of those)
