There is a serious marked difference between F-Doll Normal Skin Yellow and Obitsu Pale. When things settle down around here, I can grab a shot of a NS-Pink with Obitsu. In the meantime, here's a shot of a gretel head on a f-doll NS-Yellow body:
Wow, that's odd. I just (literally) put my Gretel next to the F-doll NS (not pink) that I got two weeks ago and I cannot tell the difference. How old is that F-doll body, Kiki-chan? Could it have yellowed that much?
That shot was taken last winter... and we'd JUST received the doll from Mint on Card. At most the doll was out of the box for a week before this shot was taken (if even that long). It's a pretty color, golden and buttery.
My roommate has a NS Pink boy that I can compare a gretel to. He's currently packed up from the last doll meet. If I recall correctly, he was a pretty close match to the Obitsu Pale.
OK I had to get to the bottom of this and I can't, except by thinking maybe F-doll resin is inconsistent from batch to batch. Natural light, outdoors, in shade.
On the right, Obitsu WS bust part (my Gretel is in pieces right now) On the left BRAND NEW F-doll NS (not pink) body
Wow!! I wonder which would be the batch that they're currently offering? EEK! If they differ so much, that will be a problem if I need a decent match.... ^^;; I wonder why Fdoll did such a thing?!?!
But thanks SOOOO MUCH for your help and input, VV-sama and Kiki-chan!!!! :hugs:
