My new friend

Ok, I know this is a doll forum and all - but I like to think of us all as a family too and as such I want to introduce you to the newest member of my immediate family. For those of you who don't know, it's been a sucky year for me in which I lost both a best friend and the beloved cat that I had raised from 1 month old. In an effort to drag myself out of a depressive spiral, I went to the local humane society last night and found a new cat - not to replace my dear Cyrano, becuase that would be impossible, but to be, as I said, a new friend and a refreshing spark of new life.

I present Cesare (pronounced chez-uh-ray...think Borgia) who was a bit camera shy...you can't really see them, but his eyes are a beautiful shade of green



He looks like a lynx/cat mix hahahahaha


But he settled in quickly


and is a complete attention slut


And BECAUSE this is a doll forum - the obligatory photo of cat with doll. Badi al-Zaman, of course, since all feline inhabitants of the household must meet with his approval.


I'm afraid Badi was not pleased when Chez started to eat his hair Oh, and that gimped up right ear is not the result of fighting - I'm not sure if it started before, or after he was left at the humane society, but he had a severe hematoma in that ear and eventually had to have surgery on it, resulting in the partial loss of that ear. I think it's adorable

He is gorgeous. Nothing lioke a cat who loves attention to make your life better. Congratulations! My cat has stolen Cordie's mohair wigs, so I switched to fake fur.

I looove cats and your Cesare looks beautiful. Can't believe he's feeling comfy so fast, usually cats hate moving and will hide for two weeks before they feel at home lol. Congratulations, enjoy his company <3

I did - or at least I tried. He didn't object when I looked for the zipper tug where his balls used to be (HUGE NUBS ) but I got clawed when I started to grope his tummy
