I've been thinking about this and to be honest I might stick with 21-27cm Obitsus for a while... A bigger BJD will have to be a future dream for when my study loan is paid off, hehe. I think I'll have enough fun with smaller dolls for a while, I can let loose all of my creativity and photography needs on them I suppose ^^

It's gonna take a while though, haha! The head will probably arrive within two weeks, but I've got to do my very first face-up on her which probably won't be easy..! I'll also have to make her some clothes, but fortunately I do already have the body, so who knows, I may have some time

. But in between dolly business I'm also trying to graduate from college, haha! So please bear with me!

This isn't a 'I'll show you my dolly soon' topic heehee, it was merely meant to be a discussion topic... once my dolly has arrived you'll see pictures in a new topic ^^

Although there's not much discussion needed here, haha, now that I already know that no dollieh is left behind in this Sanctuary <3

1/6 is a great size. Most of my dolls are "Littles" and they're spoiled with just about anything they want. Bigger means waaay bigger with the resin dolls, but there are tiny and 1/6 scale ones to be found. I need to do a new picture with my Dollzone BB but this should give you an idea what size you'd be dealing with for bigger dolls. The 30cm compares to Barbie and Ken, the 40cm to Tonner dolls, the 70cm to small children.

The 1/6ers are a fine bunch, handy size and they don't take up much space until you realised it too late. And there's much equipment that they can mugged from Barbies and fellow action figures. :lol:

Agreed. 1/6 dolls are a lot of fun to have around and to sneak places. ^^ Claires is a fun place to go for dolly sized items. Moonchairs, lamps and tiny dressers make great props!

I'm not sure we have Claires in the Netherlands... but yes, the Barbie props are a huge pro!!
