I wonder if an ugly crappy bike or a really frilly girly unicorns and stickers bike would be less likely to be stolen. I mean come on, a guy riding one bike and carrying another and neither are stolen? Or these unkempt druggie looking grown men on kids bikes?

It's going to have to be a 50% reduction for the patterns to keep the cost down. As I'm using Neo Office, meh, I only get a small amount of "usable" image space with the templates for Lulu. I have a couple more ideas to try but so far everything is coming out just too small to be full size X< And I can't use my printer at home because one of us doesn't understand the settings to make letter print full size letter. Oh well, enough of the mooks put stuff out at 50%.

There are other ways of making a bike less likely to be stolen. One of my classmates removes the seat from his bike and takes it to class with him. Of course, he also uses chains in conjunction with removing the seat and it seems to work just fine.

I got to remember the seat trick for one of my screen plays, definitely makes it harder to ride.

*The book thing is only getting harder. For some swear word reason no matter what I do the patterns will not print out at 100% in the test prints unless it's 1 or 2 patterns per very small picture area which would make it a 100 page $40 book :x Stuck with Photoshop Elements, Neo Office, iWork, and a sledge hammer.

**Looks like it's Office Despot's problem, as I thought having them print up test files would be a good idea (insert Sideshow Bob groan) Crossing fingers, proceeding, and hoping everything will come out okay.

That's it - I've determined that there is something in the phone lines in this building that causes all the dumbasses and moron phone calls to go through my phone!

In so much discomfort. Mentally exhausted. Having some issues with my body. Let's just say, my body has never been quite right since January. Finally have a Dr.s appt on Monday, nice and early.. So maybe she can tell me what the hell is wrong with me. Cause it's tearing me apart and there's no one I can turn to to explain what the hell it is I'm going through. It hurts. :(

Sorry... Had to vent.

I feel your pain. I deal with an abundance of phone calls and customer service emails on a daily basis at work. I work in the sales area, not so much trying to sell but answering pre-sales questions about licensing/some functionality etc... Though I am hopefully going to get moved into the XAML design area soon cause I freaking love Expression Blend... Anyway.. enough geek talk...

It is seriously incomprehendable how much stupidity people send me on a daily basis. We receive emails like "I need a quote". That's it. No salutation, no offering as to what in god's name you need the quote for.. We have like 20 fing products, you want to narrow it down some?

Or.. my personal favorite. "I have error. Please help me fix" .. =_= ... ::twitch, twitch::

1. SALES OFFICE.. NOT Tech Support - read the effing email that you got when you signed up for an account that tells you how to submit a SUPPORT ticket.

2. You HONESTly think that based on that superiorly detailed email you just provided s with... we can serisouly fix the issue???

Really?? ... NO.. Really???!!!

And then.. if you have not responded to their email within 3 minutes because they are very obviously the only person you are emailing... >_> Despite the 75+ items in your inbox.... What do they do? They call and ask you if you got the email and then try to just jump into what they already asked in their email. ... Head>desk // repeat

Okay.. I'm done...

I have my email set so that a little preview pops up when mail hits my box. this way if I'm busy I can catch a glimpse and see if I need to instantly look. I can actually predict, based on these previews, which one of my co-workers will trot down the hall to my office before the thing has even faded off the screen to ask me "Did you get my email?".

If whatever it is, is that important - and they are going to get off their butt to come to my office - why the hell did they bother emailling me? *joins in the head desking*
