Brother #1 home safely from Kuwait just in time for Thanksgiving. Sadly, brother #2 will be shipping to Afghanistan in the spring.

Silly rejoice, but I've just discovered the appeal of silk pillowcases. I've spent my entire life with either having to keep my hair short or deal with my hair matting and knotting overnight. (I once had someone ask me if I was trying to grow dreadlocks- it gets that bad!)All this time all I needed was a silk pillowcase.
After 33 years of life, my hair is finally cooperating. I can finally grow my hair out!

Just three finals and a project to turn in and I am finished for the semester! Senior project presentations were today. I don't feel I did very well but my team as a whole did great so hopefully it will even out. ^_^

Good news: a sudden windfall!! >_> well, not really a windfall so much as my manager realized I hadn't used any of my paid vacation hours so I will be getting those all tacked onto this month's paychecks.

Which means I can get a new computer soon, yay~!
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

I've heard this as well, apparently silk is the way to go. Since I'm growing mine maybe I should invest in a silk pillowcase as well. :-)

Man, I wish my job would do this! I get three paid weeks each year, but I don't actually take a lot of vacations so I've always got leftovers. But if I don't use them by the end of the year, the company doesn't tack them onto my paycheck. I just lose them.

Anyhoo, new camera finally arrived! Nice features, Wifi connectivity, lots of extra options. It's charging right now but I can't wait to start playing with it!

Glad to help out!
I told my mom and she said that I'll have to buy silk sheets when my hair gets too long for just the pillow. Apparently she thinks I'm going for Rapunzel type length.

Awesome! Not too many jobs do things like that!
