Well, Famed, they did issue a subpoena today for that couple to go before a grand jury. Maybe they'll be lucky and that will be who was doing it.
I was talking to one of the professors the other day and he was saying what a big mess it is causing with testing and finals. Some teachers are debating just giving the students whatever grades they've already earned. That is good for those who were doing well, but not those who would still need to time to try to pull themselves up.

Okami- While that is probably what is happening, they have to take them all seriously. The worst case scenario would be that he's just trying to get people used to him crying wolf before he actually does something. I think most people assume it is someone being stupid, though. I think the award is up to $50,000 and the FBI have been working on it for a few weeks now. Unfortunately the guy is routing the emails through other countries.

I am less than hopeful considering that at least four of the last seven happened while they were being held for contempt. Also, that the judge held them in contempt because they insisted on seeing the warrant for their fingerprints(which as of last night they still hadn't been shown) makes this whole process even more ridiculous. We just have to be patient while the FBI figures it out. I've been pretty furtunate that my office isn't being too directly affected but I feel awful for the students who have to keep clearing their dorms in the middle of the night and the poor sick children at the Family House who have had to evacuate a couple times now. It's a pain in the butt, but our local law enforcement has been doing a great job and have really cut down on the time it takes to clear and check a building. I think they've handled it the best they can. Personally I agree with the safety first approach.

*Edit for *hugs* I'm sorry Candle. I know how much that sucks. You know your situation far better than they do, so don't take stupid things they say too much to heart.

Oh I definitely agree with the safety first approach. It just doesn't make it any less frustrating for those who have to scramble. I had two bomb threats when I was in high school, but since we were in the middle of nowhere, and the school district encompassed some 50+ miles of territory, most times they'd just move everyone down to the soccer field and/or track, rather than send them home. It took less time for the cops to sweep our tiny building, (student body numbered less than 350 across 4 grades) than it did for the bus drivers to get in, get their bus and get to the school to take us home. Of course when they built the new wing, and added the middle school to the building, that changed, as it doubled the size, and tripled the population. I was in my senior year when the new wing opened, and there wasn't a threat that year, so I have no idea how they handle it now.

I don't know how much of it is true, but back when I was in highschol we had a couple of bomb threats. now, we were a small town and the highschool serviced half the county, so it was a good sized, so it would take all the cops to sweep it. apparently a couple people called in the threat, and then robbed a bank while all the cops were busy. (I also heard one got eaten by a bear hiding out in the smokey mountains and was ID by his remains and DNA in bear spoor)

And to add to "teh Sucks" I just learned that Jonathan Frid died! He passed away on Friday the 13th at age 87. I'd bet he chose that date! I was lucky enough to have met him and Kathryn Leigh Scott.

Rest In Peace, Barnabas. If I know you... you'll be back next week as a new character!

Now I gotta go somewhere and cry a little.

And my grandma, yup lots of stuff from my childhood, gone. My grandmother passed away early this morning. If things around me could stop dying, that would be great.
